It is believed that all worship service commences with a brief invocation for blessings of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Rajarajeshwari Devi (Mataji) for a trouble free and smooth conduct of every function. From the numerous Vedic scriptures and from our ancestors, it is believed that during Navaratri (Nine Nights), by performing various Poojas, Japas and Havans and also those who participate and offer their prayers, Goddess Durga Devi, Goddess Lakshmi Devi and Goddess Saraswati Devi come down and bless the devotees for courage, strength, prosperity, education, knowledge, peaceful and happy life, maintain good health free from all diseases and for Universal Peace. As every year, this year also our Samaj proposes to celebrate Navaratri Utsav as per the usual traditions. By the grace of Goddess Rajarajeshwari and with the blessings of devout elders, it is proposed to perform daily Pooja, Japa, Homam, culminating with Chandi Maha Yagnam with Chandi Parayanam along with Suvasini Pooja, Kanya Pooja, Brahmachari Pooja etc. in the presence of Goddess Rajarajeshwari Devi (Mataji) from as per the programme detailed. The entire Poojas will be conducted and performed by our Samaj Acharya Sri Sudharshan Sharma, under the able guidance of Br. Shri. T. S. Ramanathan Shastrigal and Br. Shri. Ramasubramania Shastrigal. We now look forward to your support, participation and liberal contributions to enable the Samaj to make the celebrations a pious, unique and befitting one and the devotees be the recipients of the Blessings of Goddess Durga, Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati and Goddess Chandika Devi.
