Bhajan Samaj (Regd), Ghatkopar (East) is a Public Charitable Institution serving the citizens of Ghatkopar and surrounding areas. The Samaj was established over 50 years ago and are managed by honorary volunteers under the supervision of a Managing Committee drawn from members of distinguished background.
We have a premises admeasuring approximately 2850sq mts. in which we have temples and meditation hall and Recreation area constructed about 15 years back with contributions from local citizens. The premises also contain a play area for children and relaxation area for local senior citizens.
Our activities comprise of day to day functioning of the temples, meditation hall used by local citizens for dance classes, yoga classes, music classes, veda classes, bhajans and for periodical cultural programs, discourses etc. We recognize and encourage local students excelling in their studies as well as the local faculty. We celebrate all the festivals with good local participation. Over 200 devotees visit our temple complex daily, substantially increases to about 1300 to 1500 on days of programs and various festivals.
